Ah Mee had over four decades of leadership across public and private sectors, spanning 37 years and 12 years respectively. He provided insightful innovative leadership with breakthrough ideas, implemented with excellent business and organizational results.
He brings deep expertise in organizational leadership, business strategy, and technology innovation. His cumulative experience spanned across start-ups to big organizations, managing large-scale operations, driving digital transformation, overseeing project equity investment and financing. He also contributed to risk management, sustainability, governance, safety, people and community development through executive and board roles in various organizations.
He served on various boards in public, private and people sectors, covering audit, risk, nomination and remuneration portfolios with the aim of strengthening organizational strategies, governance and innovation to achieve corporate and business goals.

His proficiency in Business Strategy Development is demonstrated through the creation of actionable scenarios and strategies that deliver measurable outcomes. Notable achievements include driving a 15% CAGR in a design and construction company over five years, doubling annual turnover to S$500–650 million in a local engineering and construction group within five years, expanding card membership of a people-centered statutory board to 1.1 million in just two years, and increasing retained earnings 33-fold to S$20 million in a transport consultancy company over five years.
Education
He graduated with a First-Class Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University. In addition, he completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. His contributions to public service have been recognized through prestigious awards, including the Public Service Medal (2024), the Public Administration Medal (Gold) (2008), and the Public Administration Medal (Silver) (Military) (1992). He also served as the Returning Officer in Singapore’s General Election, Presidential Election, and By-Elections between 2009 and 2013.
Professional Experience
Wee Lee provides SMEs with Human Resource (HR) consultancy services to leverage on their HR capabilities to propel company objectives. She has helped several companies successfully implement HR solutions with government funding such as ICV (Innovation & Capability Voucher) and Enterprise Development Grant (EDG). With her passion to make a difference in the workplace and as a Work-Life Grant Consultant & Trainer, Wee Lee also provided work-life consultancy to assist companies in implementing good work-life practices.
Apart from HR and work-life consultancies, Wee Lee also specialises in Job Competency Profiling, Recruitment Selection and Performance Management. She was the Lead Consultant for the competency profiling of more than 25 job families at a local government agency and facilitated the development of competency frameworks for a number of other corporations. In the area of Performance Management and Target Setting, she had facilitated workshops across multiple levels from executives to directors to cascade organisational performance goals.

Wee Lee’s experience in both the financial and academic arena brings to bear a greater degree of relevance and robustness in her service delivery, in the capacity of both Consultant and Trainer. Her strengths are in the areas of Competency Profiling & Development, HR management, Work-Life Integration Strategy and Implementation, as well as delivery of training courses in Competency-based Selection Interview and Performance Management & Development. Other expertise includes conducting Finance for Non-Finance Personnel and personal work-life effectiveness courses.
Education
Wee Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from the University of Singapore. She has a MSc in Management (Sloan Fellows Program) from the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master’s in Training & Development from Griffith University, an Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment and Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education from Workforce Development Agency. She completed the Certified Productivity Consultant Programme, jointly conducted by Singapore Productivity Centre and Japan Productivity Centre. She had also completed A*STAR SIMTech’s Strategic Technology & Operation Roadmapping program.
